URGENT: Sabar Needs Your Help to Survive (Graphic Warning)
I write to you today with a heavy heart.
This is the story of Sabar—a name that means Patience.
He once lived a carefree life with his dog family near the railway tracks.
But one tragic day, him and his sibling miscalculated while crossing… and were hit by a train.
His brother died instantly. Sabar survived, but barely.
He lay motionless for four long days, wounded and helpless. No one stopped to check if he was alive.
When someone finally did, the damage was horrifying—maggots had eaten through half of his mouth, jaw, and snout.
📢 Why We Need You
His leg was shattered, and he couldn’t move. The only thing he could taste in his mouth was rot and pain.
Then, one kind soul rushed him to Pawsitive Sanctuary.
He was immediately treated, his maggots removed, and given emergency fluid therapy.
Now, after days of care, Sabar is finally sipping liquids. His road to recovery is long, and his wounds are graphic—but his will to live is stronger.
He’s safe now. But he needs a virtual adopter to support his treatment, recovery, and give him a second chance at life
If you feel moved by his story, please consider virtually adopting Sabar—or simply sharing his story to help us find someone who will.
If you cannot virtually adopt him, then a donation can really go the mile for Sabar
If you'd like to virtually adopt him, you can reply back to this email or call/text Amita (our Founder) at 416-832-9144.
With love and hope,
